| Bio: | I'm a Florida teacher who works with the International Baccelaureate Program. My hobbies include Betta Splendens breeding, Aquarium keeping (I have 13 aquaria at present) and Exotic tropical gardening. I grow mostly Heliconia, Gingers and Bananas from around the tropical world. My beautiful garden get redesigned by hurricanes regularly, especially last year. I also grow orchids and bromeliads, my favorites of which are pineapples. I have a duplex in Ft. Lauderdale with a double lot, most of which is garden. What is not garden is the pool area. There is a rather small lawn, just enough to have to own a lawnmower, but it makes great mulch. I am a former professional Opera Singer as well. | |||||||
